Can we throw confetti?

We would love you to cover us in confetti but please only bring bio-degradable and sustainable types such as paper, wood and petals.

 

What's the dress code in Dominican Republic?

‘Beach Formal’, formal but cool. Ladies: dresses below the knee/skirt suits/ trouser suits (no white or rose gold). Gents: no tux needed, more like cotton shirts with smart linen trousers and shoes (ties are optional).

 

What's the dress code in the UK?

'Outside formal', the venue is a barn and marquee with lots of outside space for mingling and photos. Ladies: dresses/trouser suits etc (no white or rose gold). Gents: smart shirt with smart/casual trousers such as chinos (ties are optional).

 

Any covid restrictions?

Dominican Republic - there are currently no covid restrictions in the hotel, or Dominican Republic. Please see below the entry requirements for Dominican Republic.

UK - There are no covid restrictions.

 

Entry requirements for Dom Rep?

You will need to ensure a few things are completed and up to date before leaving the UK:

- Your passport must be in-date.

- You will need to fill in an e-ticket using this link (you will also need to complete this before returning to the UK): https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/Auth/TravelRegister/

- Check all vaccines with GP, there are no current covid restrictions but please have your vaccine passport available.

Dominican Republic

Travel insurance - make sure you take out travel insurance for the duration of your stay.

Airport transfer - double check you have a return transfer to and from the hotel. All TUI passengers are likely to be together on this.

Get to the airport early - Try and get to the airport 3 hours before your flight.

Drinks at the ceremony in the Dominican Republic - There will be free exclusive bar service for wedding guests during the cocktail hour, reception and party.
